The Fifth Dimension

The Fifth Dimension

We are just small points that haven't crossed in space, Two silent stars in a distant place. We haven't shared a sunrise, haven't borrowed time, Yet somehow your pulse echoes mine. They time the worlds in light, Draw lines for left and right. But love slips past every line, and bends the laws of space and time. Maybe love is gravity's twin, It's a force that pulls us within. Strong enough to stretch the years, To cross the dark and silence fears. One day we will meet, I know, Cause this feeling isn't meant to go. It waits and it learns to stay, Cause a signal is sent from far away. Because love lives where time can't reach, Beyond the truths that science can teach. Not visible but clearly defined, Love is the fifth dimension of the mind.
